THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING: We’ve answered some questions below that we've already been receiving. We hope this will help you plan your travel, settle in comfortably, and enjoy the weekend with us.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible. Please confirm no later than Friday, May 1st, 2026.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

The closer to the venue the better! We have room blocks at the Sun Lodge (15 min drive) and a limited room block at the Upper Pass Lodge (at venue). See our Travel page for more information and other lodging options.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We will have a small shuttle bus taking guests from the Sun Lodge to the wedding and back. Details and schedule will be shared closer to the date.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our suggested dress code is rustic formal. See the Attire page for more details!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend showing up at 3:30 pm, ahead of the 4 pm ceremony.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We are aiming to celebrate in a mostly-adult environment. We understand, however, that childcare is not always an option. We do not want that to be a barrier to you attending. Please reach out to us with any questions or to discuss further.

Question

Should I make a weekend out of it?

Answer

Yes, Vermont is a beautiful and peaceful place. Explore the area and take in some fresh air! See the Things to Do page.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both. The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting), and the reception will be indoors and on the deck.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Late July in Vermont is typically warm during the day (70s–80s°F) and cooler in the evening (50s–60s°F). We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl for the evening.

Question

Will there be walking or uneven terrain?

Answer

Yes. The venue is on a mountain, so comfortable shoes are strongly recommended. Heels are welcome, but block heels, wedges, or flats may be easier.

Question

What if I can’t attend?

Answer

We will miss you, but we completely understand. Please let us know via RSVP as soon as you're able to.

Question

Who should I contact with questions?
