Flying into San Diego (SAN) is definitely your best option. All events are a short drive from the airport and Uber, Lyft, and taxis are easy to access. Another option is to fly into Los Angeles (LAX), which is a couple hours away. From LA, there are a few options to get down to San Diego, including a nice train ride down the coast.
