Kait and Rohaan first met while attending Stuyvesant High School--Kait was a diligent and hardworking student and Rohaan was Rohaan. They grew close during sophomore year through teenage flirtation and late night instant messaging. They never dated in high school but remained good friends for years after.

In the summer of 2015, Rohaan started a new job at Facebook and invited Kait to Facebook's happy hour, where they re-kindled their romance. Soon afterwards, they were officially together and had begun the best chapter of their lives (to date).

After almost three years of dating, sharing a home in Brooklyn, and adopting Zeus, Rohaan finally picked up the hint: the proposal clock was ticking. On Kait's 27th birthday, Rohaan proposed to her at Barboncino (their favorite local pizza restaurant) followed by a surprise gathering with friends at their apartment.

After COVID derailed their original wedding plans, they were married in an intimate "backyard" ceremony at Kaitlyn's parents' home in Brooklyn. They look forward to celebrating their marriage with their family and friends just before their one-year anniversary!
