St. Maarten in October is warm and sunny, with temperatures typically in the mid-80s . We recommend packing light clothing, swimsuits, and something Snazzy for the wedding. You will need a passport to travel, so please double-check that it’s valid for the trip.
We have room blocks at both resorts with a discounted nightly rate, making the booking process simple and stress-free. When you reserve your room, the resort will take a deposit equal to one night of your stay, and the remaining balance will be charged automatically 60 days before check-in — don’t worry, we’ll send a reminder! If our reserved dates don’t quite match your travel plans, no problem. Since we’re celebrating with a destination wedding, it really helps us to know who’s joining once travel plans are set. Saying so, we ask that you RSVP after you’ve booked your flights, ideally by May 12th.
We truly see our wedding as a special family celebration and are excited to share this experience with loved ones of all ages — including the little ones. The resort we’ve chosen is family-friendly and also offers adults-only areas. While most of our wedding events will be open to everyone, the following celebrations will be reserved for adults only. - “Cheers to Moses” by the pool (adults only pool) We’re so grateful for the time and effort it takes to travel and celebrate with us, and we can’t wait to make memories together.
Our wedding ceremony and reception will take place indoors, but cocktail hour and photos will be outside, where the average temperature is typically in the mid 80s . With that in mind, we recommend wearing light, breathable fabrics to stay comfortable throughout the celebration. We also kindly ask that white be reserved for the wedding couple. Your thoughtful attention to this means so much to us. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed to celebrate!
While we’re heading to the Caribbean to celebrate our wedding, we also hope this trip feels like a big family vacation filled with love, laughter, and connection. We’ll be hosting a few family dinners and casual celebrations throughout the weekend on the resort to give everyone a chance to spend time together and get to know one another. These events are completely optional, but we’d love to see you there.
Your presence and support truly mean the world to us, and we feel so grateful just to have you by our side during this special time. If you feel called to give a gift, we’ve included a registry under the “Registry” tab on our website. We kindly ask that any gifts be shipped directly to our home, as we won’t be able to travel with them from the island. Thank you for your love, support, and generosity, it means more than you know!
