This bridge is extremely special to us. On occasion, on Sundays we would grab a coffee at The Stone Cup, then stroll across this bridge and admire our beautiful city. It was also on this bridge that we did that exact thing, but then Roger got down on one knee! While it doesn't take long to walk across the bridge, there are plenty of things to do on each side. On the south side of the bridge, you have the Bluff View Art District, new Edwin Hotel and the Aquarium. On the north side of the bridge, you have Frazier Avenue [lots of local shops, coffee, ice cream, restaurants] and Coolidge Park.
This trail is directly behind Hailey and Roger's house, at the foot of Lookout Mountain. Take a short walk or hike for hours... we love it! Roger takes this trail straight up to the top of Lookout, ending at Point Park with a beautiful view of Chattanooga.
Lookout Mountain is a beautiful place to enjoy and explore! There's Rock City, Ruby Falls, Point Park and the Incline Railway! You can take the Incline up Lookout Mountain from our neighborhood, St. Elmo, and enjoy a nice Clumpies Ice Cream Cone from either the bottom OR the top of the mountain!
The Chattanooga Market is a great way to turn the Sunday Blues into Sunday Funday. Located close to the major interstates, this would be a great last stop on your way out of town. There are aisles and aisles of local vendors set up, tons of delicious treats, drinks, food trucks, live music, beautiful bouquets of flowers and so much more! Hailey loves buying Christmas presents for people from the market and Roger loves the food trucks and view of the CFC stadium.
