We took this tour in 2018 and the kids loved it. Jen enjoyed all the great picture ops of course and everyone got to hold a baby gator. Not far from the city.
Everyone has heard of it, but this is the original. Open 24 hours and as one of Taylors favorite places she has figured that as long as you don't go in the morning you don't have to stand in a long line.
Very cool area with some food vendors and handmade crafts as well as souvenirs. You can find anything from a bottle opener for the wall made from reclaimed wood from Hurricane Katrina to the voodoo doll Taylor has in her room. Great area to just browse and enjoy your drink while wondering around.
If you haven't heard of this before, just don't go, it will scare you! Tons of Bars and those naughty places that only bad boys go...… During the day it really isn't bad at all, we have taken both kids and they enjoyed seeing the cool stores and the famous bars. Spirits on Bourbon from Bar Rescue, Lafitte's Black smith shop - Oldest bar in America, Tropical Isle - Hand Grenades (Stephanie's Favorite!) Pat O'Brien's - Hurricane, Johnny Whites Bar - Redskins Bar
You can go to the bar area here and order dessert. Specifically the Bananas Foster made tableside! Great experience.
One of the best Breakfast in the city!
Jeff went here so much the owners know him now. Small place that has the best homemade hamburgers ever. They make everything from scratch including their sauces.
Famous New Orleans pastry shop. It has been in episodes of The Treme' and NCIS New Orleans. Handmade Cannoli's and Homemade Gelato.
