Black-tie optional. This sacred space requires modest attire (shoulders and knees covered). Please plan to bring a shawl or pashmina to layer over your outfit. We kindly invite our guests to embrace the warm, vibrant colors of an Italian summer. Think shades of terracotta, sage green, sunset gold, or soft pastels like lavender and sky blue.

We are honored to welcome you to the Choir Chapel within Saint Peter’s Basilica for our wedding ceremony. Because of the unique requirements of this historic site, guests will receive entry instructions closer to the event to ensure a seamless arrival.

Papal Audience

8:00 am - 10:30 am

The Papal Audience is a unique gathering where Pope Leo XIV greets visitors in Vatican City, offering teachings and blessings. The audience typically begins at 9:00 AM, but we highly recommend arriving by 8:00 AM to clear security and secure seating. Tickets are free but required for entry. We recommend requesting them at least two weeks in advance. You can submit your request here: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=jJPqxjrlrEqp5TYAxC3uUvUoKbz6qptHm0Ed3dq-F5tUQkNIRk03OUc5QTRNVjA0VDZZWk9KSTVXOC4u The newlyweds will be attending within the Sposi Novelli section to receive a special matrimonial blessing from Pope Leo XIV. Attire for a Papal Audience must be modest and respectful, covering shoulders, upper arms, and knees to comply with strict Vatican regulations. Recommended attire includes long pants, dresses, or skirts that reach the knee, with blouses or shirts that cover the shoulders and upper chest.
