FAQs

These are the frequently asked questions regarding our wedding. If you have additional questions, please reach out to the bride and groom.
Question

Will you have any COVID vaccination requirements to attend?

Answer

As we’re sure you can imagine, we are closely monitoring COVID and how it will impact our wedding plans. We are thrilled that we are one step closer to celebrating with you, and your health and safety continue to be our priority. As such, we are asking all guests who are attending our wedding in person to please be fully vaccinated prior to the wedding. If vaccination is not possible (and we understand it may not be), we ask that you please take a COVID test 48-72 hours prior to our wedding. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, as we respectfully remind you that at-risk guests will be in attendance and we want to keep everyone safe.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

It will be warm during the ceremony and cocktail hour but will cool down quite a bit after dinner.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors but some dinner seating will be under a covered courtyard.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Guests can head to the other side of the venue for cocktail hour.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We are getting married at the Hacienda Valyermo. The address is 29831 Valyermo Rd, Valyermo, CA 93563. It is located north of Angeles National Forest and is about 20 minutes east of Palmdale. You will see the little Valyermo Post Office in the front, go through the gate and follow the dirt road to the Hacienda.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Security will be directing traffic once you arrive at the venue. Parking is free.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes, we have a hotel block at the Holiday Inn Palmdale. Please call them directly to reserve a room or follow the link in the travel section. Transportation will be provided for guests to the venue from the hotel.
