We first met while attending a training class at Keesler AFB Mississippi in 2008. We became fast friends over those six weeks but lost track of each other through the years until one coincidental trip at the Pentagon metro in 2016. Sherry was running late as usual but thankfully, her timing was perfect. We looked at each other as we passed thinking "I know that person" but couldn't place where we had met before. One of us asked, don't I know you from somewhere? As we went back through the memories and bases we had been, we blurted out at the same time, Keesler. It's a military saying that once you meet someone in the military, you are bound to come across that person again. We caught up with what was going on in our lives, exchanged numbers, and soon became the best of friends. Friends progressed to finding a lifetime love whom you can share everything. It hasn't been an easy road, but we wouldn't want to or even consider spending the rest of our lives with anyone else. We love to travel, attending sporting events, and spending time with family and friends. Working out has become a passion of ours again after falling by the wayside since COVID. We are determined to stay on track because if we want to walk up to Mt Vesuvius again or any other strenuous climb, we need to continue what we are doing. We have visited The Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Mexico, England, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands and most recently, Greece. The Best is yet to come!!!
