The couple met in June of 2014 when Brionna Greene decided to play Cupid between her college friend, Rodasha Scott, and her favorite male cousin, Early 'Man' Mumphery, Jr. According to the groom, "it was love at first sight." Although Rodasha made Early run long and fast during the months of "the chase," she knew deep within that Man was indeed the man for her. Nine months into the courtship, life, as the couple once knew it, changed. Early was faced with the decision of a lifetime; to begin a new chapter of life in Atlanta or to begin a new book in Southern California. Either way, the couple had to make the choice of ending their relationship or continuing their fairy tale from afar. They both knew that life would not be the same without each other, so they decided to continue their relationship despite the distance. After three years of flights, nonsense fights and longer days and nights, the couple decided to reunite once again. Early vowed that if they were to ever reunite in the same city he'd never let her go.
The strain of distance was obsolete and the couple's bliss was at an all time high. After more than 5 years, Early knew that Rodasha was the only one for him. On a pre planned trip to Jamaica, Early had one final trick up his sleeve. After dinner on December 8, 2019, the couple took a stroll along the white sandy beaches. Early arranged to have a resort employee stage a mini-photo shoot of the couple under the starry sky. While walking toward the photographer to check the quality of the photos, Early dropped to his knee, confirming and declaring his unwavering love. While crying uncontrollably, she mustered up the strength to oblige his request of taking his hand in marriage. Unbeknownst to the couple, the "photos" (which was actually a video) captured the moment they've both been waiting for; the start of forever.
