We absolutely love this spot and think you will too! Take a guided tour to explore the history of the fifth-oldest continuously operating brewery in the United States, and enjoy a tasting of their finest brews. If you’re in the mood to relax, you can also hang out at the taproom or outdoor patio and try some of our personal favorites—Johnny can’t get enough of the Point Special Lager, while Diana’s go-to is the Point Amber! Not a beer drinker? No problem! They also offer a delicious selection of sodas and Cider Boys, which are perfect for a refreshing alternative.
Stop by Chef Chu’s in Waupaca—owned by Diana's dad! We’d love for you to check it out and enjoy a meal made with love!
We recommend visiting Tokyo Steak House, the sushi and hibachi restaurant owned and previously ran by Diana's mom! Whether you're in the mood for sushi or an entertaining hibachi meal cooked right in front of you, this place has it all.
A Stevens Point summer classic! Diana grew up looking forward to trips to Belts, and now we love going together when we are in town. Stop by for a giant cone or a flurry—it’s the perfect sweet treat! Check out their Facebook Page for the flavor of the day! P.S. The cookie dough and brownies are homemade
Alternatively, if you enjoy homemade, hard scooped ice cream, King Cone is the place for you! Another one of Diana's favorite places. Her favorite flavors are Peter Cotton Tail, Zanzee Chocolate Bar, and Carmel Apple Sucker though you can't go wrong with anything there.
Over 13 miles of trails to hike and beautiful views! Fun fact: On the other side of the "mountain" is Granite Peak Ski Area where Johnny taught Diana how to snowboard... and where Diana realized her feelings for Johnny.
If you’re looking to enjoy the outdoors while in town, Schmeeckle Reserve is great and close by. With scenic trails, a beautiful lake, and plenty of wildlife, it’s a great place for a peaceful walk or a quiet moment in nature.
