One day she just appeared, my parents brought her home & said we were going to keep her. Growing up, my sister and I played a lot of 'dress up' out of Grandma Kern's drawers. There was even this one time I used Barbie scissors to give her a nice bang trim. Ever since then, her bangs have grown out & we haven grown so much closer as sisters. I am so grateful for her to stand by my side as my Maid of Honor while we play dress up again 20 years later.

Brother from another mother. We go way back. D and I have grown very close over the years. We've always been able to talk about anything without judgement and help each other in life. No matter what is going on or when we get to hang its just real. We were always down to get into something or just be out and having fun. My right hand man.

My uncle married Kattie's mom when we were 13 & it was the best thing that ever happened. We met on my 13th birthday, which happened to be right after hers, so the adults thought we should celebrate both birthdays in one. I have to admit, I was a little salty when I had to share my pink & orange birthday cake with her, but it was so worth it because I gained a cousin & a best friend all in one. From whale watching on family vacations and traveling the world to always celebrating our birthdays together & living together as roommates for 5 years; I couldn't imagine it any other way. I am so thankful to call her my Cousin of Honor as she stands by my side.

We go back pretty far and have many memories together over the years. I think he goes to Osaka more than anyone i know Haha

My person. Being from the Lutheran School world, where everyone knows everyone, we were destined to be best friends. I officially became friends with Bek when we were freshmen at Lutheran High School North in gym class. The very first time she asked me to hangout with her was to go up north to her cottage with her entire family. That's when we found out that our families grew up together (see everyone knows everyone). From gym class freshman year & swimming with dolphins in the Bahamas to college parties & making our friendship survive on voicemails while we were a part, our friendship has been through so much. I am so honored that we are able to stand by each other in our weddings this year.

Sam is so funny and thoughtful; she goes above and beyond to make me feel like a part of the family. We are alike in a lot of ways; loud, outspoken, share a love for wine & we both adore our fur babies. During Rocky's 25th surprise birthday party, Sam helped me clean the never ending mess. Every time I saw her, she had a wet swifter in hand & a drink in the other! I am so excited to have my new SIL stand by my side.

Pat And I go all the way back to the 7th grade... Ms Rizers Class. Pat sat in front of me and i decied it would be a good idea to poke him in the back and neck with pencils.. we talked after that and found out we lived near eachother and have been best friends since.

Alex is so nice, caring & creative; it is clear the way she cares for her family. Being a great older, she is always there for Rocky when he needs it. Her dedication & motivation to be the best version of herself is inspiring and a great reminder that there is always room for personal growth. Alex is also an amazing mom with her 3 kids, definitely someone I will be reaching out to when its our turn! I am so excited to have my new SIL stand by my side.

Not many people can say they met their best friend when they were 6, but what can we say, we are not most people. First day of 1st grade, our desks were right next to each other (KAPLER/KERN) and the rest is history; best friends ever since. From living at each others houses during the summer & up north trips with the family to traveling the world & being roommates for 5 years; I can't imagine it any other way. We always talked about living together when we were older & we actually pulled it off and had a blast in the process. I knew she would be standing next to me on this BIG day since Day 1.

You know the term "stuck like glue," well that sums up Taylor. We met each other working at Mr. B's Shelby Bar & Grill. One could say that Taylor wasn't my favorite person at the beginning, but that is because she loud, out of control, the most outspoken person I've ever met. I didn't know that was everything I was needing in a best friend. Then one day, she showed up, never left & I wouldn't have it any other way. From serving at B's and all of our ridiculous shenanigans to 21st birthdays in Vegas and practically living together; another best friend was gained. Thank you for being the ear I vent to & standing up beside me.

Q has always been real with me and we have many good times and conversations and have even traveled to Florida and seen some great sites.. Snorkeling in the keys and eating lobster mac by the beach. My little kind-hearted Mexican spit fire of a best friend. Rocky & Marissa go way back, but we met through a mutual friend and became friends while working at Mr. B's Shelby Bar & Grill. Marissa was the one who introduced Rocky & I at Boston's Pizza back in 2015. From dancing to Christmas music in B's kitchen & spending every Wednesday night together watching Friends on Netflix to building dressers & eating fries; I am so grateful to have gained such an amazing friend to stand by my side.

Not only is she dating Rocky's best friend, we worked together at Mr. B's Shelby Bar & Grill and she fit in our little work family perfectly. I am so glad that she showed up in our lives when she did, the final addition we didn't even know we were looking for. Miranda is up for anything & will always be your biggest supporter. From throwing a 25th surprise party together for the boys to becoming actual neighbors; I can't wait to see what our friendship brings. I am so grateful for her to stand by me in support.
