Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Due to safety concerns, we are unable to accommodate kids at our wedding. Enjoy a kid-free evening! Our venue has a tall sea wall, a dock, and a creek with a strong current. Due to these safety risks it is not safe for kids to attend our wedding.

What can I wear to the wedding?

Answer

It is encouraged that men and women wear formal attire. Every wedding we get invited to Thomas is praying it is black tie, so he can wear his tux. So if you got it, wear it! Ladies- you will be walking in grass, so it might be best to stick to chunky heels or platforms if you are wearing heels.

Can I take pictures/ videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests refrain from using their phones or cameras to take any photos during our ceremony. Our photographer will be sure to capture all the best moments. We will share our photos with our guests when they become available!

Where should I stay?

Answer

Check the Travel tab for our hotel blocks. We have two great options on Daniel Island right by the venue. The hotels are 15 minutes to Downtown and 10 minutes to Shem Creek.

How should I get to the wedding?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the venue if you wish to drive. We will have a shuttle running to and from the hotel to the venue before and after the ceremony. Uber and Lyft are also great options to get around in Charleston. We want to ensure everyone has a great time and makes it home safely.
