FAQs

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held at The Pritzlaff Building 143 West Saint Paul Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53203). The ceremony will be held outdoors while the reception will be indoors.

Question

Where do we park?

Answer

For your convenience we have included a map of the parking lot we have rented in your invitation.

Question

Is there a hotel nearby that has rooms blocked off for the wedding?

Answer

Yes! The Residence Inn Milwaukee Downtown has a block and discounted rate for our wedding guests at $139/night and $30 for parking with a hot breakfast included! We also have a block at The Courtyard near the airport. There are alternative options nearby, just keep in mind that the venue is in the Third Ward. For convenience, you will want to be as close to that area as possible.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please return the RSVP card included with your invitation. Or you can text us or call us! We ask that you kindly RSVP by March 9, 2024.

Question

What happens if I do not RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive a RSVP back by the day in which we have provided, it will be marked as a "No." We will miss you celebrating with us, however we have to provide a total guest count to the venue in a timely manner they have given us and cannot accept late RSVPs due to this. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest! As we have a strict guest list to stay within our venue's capacity, we can only accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. Only children in the bridal party will be present at the wedding - otherwise, we encourage you to think of our wedding as a date night away from the kids! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will have an open bar until 11:00 p.m.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us, but understand if that is not really your thing. Because Wisconsin weather can be unpredictable in April, you will need to keep an eye on the forecast.

Question

I have a dietary restriction, will there be any food for me?

Answer

For dinner we will be providing three choices of meat (chicken, beef, and pork BBQ) along with macaroni and cheese, green beans, and garlic red potatoes. If you are unable to eat any of these items, please let us know. We will try our best to accommodate!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

If you are not from Wisconsin, it will be important to know weather can be unpredictable in April. There could be beautiful, sunny skies, rain, or even snow. Before you pack for your trip check the upcoming forecast to be sure you are covered for whatever Mother Nature decides to throw at us that day.

Question

Can we take our own pictures and videos throughout the day?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged. For this we ask all phones and cameras to be put away and there to be no pictures or videos taken. We would also like to cut down on distractions for others and not have those pesky phones in our professional photos. You are more than welcome to take photos and videos throughout the course of the reception! This is such a special day for us and we have the most amazing photography team documenting our entire day that way you are able to take it all in, celebrate, and be in the moment with us!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Transportation to the venue will not be provided for our guests. We are hoping you pick a hotel in the Third Ward area of Milwaukee so that you will be close enough to walk or can take a short Uber or Lyft ride to The Pritzlaff. If you would like to drive yourself, know that parking can be hard to find or expensive in Milwaukee. We will provide you with a parking lot that is close by to help narrow that down for you, but cannot guarantee there will be spots available since Milwaukee is a big city with other events taking place on the same date as our wedding. No matter what, please try to plan ahead and share rides if possible for less stress. *We are currently trying to work out a way to get rides from the ceremony to certain hotels. Have a ride home prepared just in case!

Question

Where are you registered for gifts?

Answer

We're so excited to start our lives together and grateful to have such supportive friends and family. If you wish to give a gift, we would be thrilled to receive a contribution towards our honeymoon fund. It can be found here on this website.
