House Family Vineyards
This place has amazing views of Silicon Valley. Have a seat outside and enjoy a glass of wine (can't say it's the best wine around, but it's a good experience).
Marin Headlands Vista Point
A beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge and downtown San Francisco
17-Mile Drive
It's worth the time to see the scenic 17-Mile Drive. It winds along one of the most beautiful stretches of CA coast and ends at Pebble Beach Golf course, where you can have lunch or stop in the Pro Shop for a souvenir. Don't forget to stop in Monterrey, CA on the way down, and Carmel-by-the-Sea afterwards!
Limekiln State Park
If you're into camping, we recommend Limekiln State Park in Big Sur. It has a beach on one end and a 100-foot water fall a short hike away. It's a great way to experience what Big Sur has to offer.
20001 Skyline Blvd
If you're at our wedding venue, stop at this Vista Point off Skyline Boulevard. If it's a clear day, you can see all the way to San Francisco and Oakland. And if you hike across the street and up the hills, you can see the Pacific Ocean to the west.
Artesa Vineyards & Winery
If you get a chance to go to Napa, make a stop at Artesa Winery. It's beautiful and on the southern tip of Napa valley, so it's a pretty short drive.
Yosemite Valley
If you have the time, take a trip to Yosemite National Park. You won't be disappointed! Try to go on a weekday to avoid the crowds, because they can be quite bad on peak-season weekends.
Big Basin Redwoods State Park
If you want to see 1,000+ year old trees and can handle the winding roads, drive into Big Basin Redwoods State Park.
Lighthouse Point Park
Spend a day in Santa Cruz. Enjoy the views of the ocean, walk along the cliffs, and watch the surfers.
Fremont Older Parking Lot
Feel like going for a hike? This is relatively easy and has great views of the South Bay.
Lands End Trail
This is a beautiful park in San Francisco, with trails winding along the ocean. You'll never know that you're in the city!
Hog Island Oyster Co.
When we're feeling adventurous, food-wise, we like to try the oysters at this fun spot in San Francisco.
a Mano Restaurant
Hayes Valley is a cute neighborhood in SF. One of our favorite places to eat here is a Mano Italian Restaurant. They make all their pasta fresh in-house.
Santana Row
This is a cool area with high end shops and lots of restaurants. Pick a cuisine and they're sure to have a place worth trying. Also, stop in at the Tesla store :)
Campbell
This is where we live! The main street has lots of cute shops and restaurants, and a great Farmer's Market if you're here on a Sunday from 9am-1pm (but don't skip our wedding!)
Blue Line Pizza
Our favorite local pizza place! It's not New York pizza by any means, but they have good food. Try the deep dish, that's our go-to.
Tessora's Barra di Vino
We call this "our wine bar." They usually have live music on the weekends and a fun atmosphere.
