What started as making occasional trips to each other's shop for work evolved into weekend jaunts down local backroads with friends, then to more intimate rides to Colonial Beach, watch parties of Star Trek and other super nerdy shows and finally...the question: "Can I take you on a date? Like...an actual date?" Our first real date was to Ruth's Chris... "I had to set the bar high..." Robyn says in reflection, and this was shortly followed by a nine hour drive south to the Tennessee/North Carolina border, home of the world renowned Tail of the Dragon for a few days of adrenaline fueled bonding and scenic views in the Great Smoky Mountains. Realistically, this was the time we found we needed someone most, and happened to so perfectly fall into each others laps, in some ways more literally than others.
