It all started in a tiny, stereotypical dorm room in Plattburgh, NY. Erica brought the lit shag carpet and I brought...I don't remember. Maybe a fridge? (We won most cozy dorm room that year) Fast forward 10+ years later and this woman is still my best friend. She's who I call for everything. Example: falling in public and being so embarrassed I just need to share with someone who will laugh until we can't breathe about it. Erica is the most creative, honest, hilarious and straight up inspiring woman I know. I am so grateful for this woman and her friendship. Honestly, I don't know where I'd be if they roomed me with some other weirdo.

Where to begin with Terri? I've heard you're not truly best friends unless you hate each other first, HA! This love affair also began to blossom in Plattsburgh, NY during the summer of 2007. Terri and I got off to a rocky start that summer but we ended up on the same floor in the dorms. Our love was signed and sealed there. We went from a mild argument that summer to her becoming mine and Erica's third roommate. Terri knows me inside and out. Her patience and her enormous capacity for empathy and giving is entrancing. Terri inspires me to be a better person. She also kicks ass.

My sweet baby sister! Words cannot describe the love I have for this little one. I went from changing her diapers and shushing her to sleep alllll the way to getting matching tattoos. This girl is growing into one of the most beautiful and fierce women I know. I am truly in awe of her. She has the kindest heart of anyone I know, she gets my quirky and stupid jokes and she doesn't try to save me when the waves knock me down and wash me up on shore. (That's okay I didn't save her either. Life comes at ya quick, it was a valuable lesson) Over the years our relationship has flourished and she is not only my baby sister but one of my best friends. She's also great for stealing clothes and shoes from so there's always that.

So, we were in one of those awkward icebreaker sessions on the 2nd floor of Wilson Hall our freshman year of college and I noticed this beauty from Queens across the room. Amanda and I have been friends since. I found out years later Amanda noticed me and thought I was so beautiful in that session and that completely shocked me! She was one of the first people in my adult life as a complete stranger to tell me that. This speaks volumes of her. She sees the beauty in everyone and always will encourage it to grow. Amanda is the kind of friend you absolutely need in your life. She is honest, loyal, strong willed and gives incredible direction and advice. She is a force! A night with my Amanda is never complete without an Amanda Hug. Fellas this beauty is also single! *winks*

Katie was actually there the night Jeff and I met and turns out they were in the same class in middle school! Over the years Katie and I have forged a strong bond. She is constantly rooting for me as I am for her. She is the most nonjudgemental person and she would move mountains for a friend. We have been through so much together that this is a friendship for a lifetime. Our iHop dates, wine nights and dinner parties mean the world to me, Katie is the kind of woman you can go to with anything and she will support you and help you work it out. Plus, like most of the women in my life she's a Cancer and I don't know what I would do without her!

My Libra sister! Felicia and I have always been a lot a like. We've liked the same foods, loved the same music and also have the same attitude as we're always reminded haha. Felicia is the most logical and level headed person I know. You can't get anything past her, so don't even try it. She sets her mind to something and she gets it done. I'm so proud of the woman she's become. Felicia has a heart of gold and it has only grown over the years. We've planned "concerts" at family events and bored everyone with our Backstreet Boys dance moves, had matching Lil Wayne shirts for years, and we learned how to do the Wobble at my Bachelorette (I think so anyway) I'm lucky to call her my sister and even more lucky when she's my Spades partner because she was hard to beat!

Percilla is the woman you want in your corner! She loves deeply and fiercely. She holds and protects her family with such a sincere deep love that I know one day she will hold the title of Matriarch of our Ellam clan. Percilla and I have a very special bond. We had sleepovers just to binge watch Degrassi before binge watching was a thing. She would stand guard on the basement stairs when I was scared of the "ghosts" in the basement and my Mom made me go down there for laundry. We had Trey Songz concerts and she would make me cry when she wouldn't get up for school and Grandpop came in to wake her up. She just wouldn't get the heck up. Percilla has always been an old soul and I think that's why we share the bond that we do, looking forward to our next concert in the kitchen!

My soulllll sisterrrrr! This girl is on FIRE. Amanda is so brave and thoughtful. She's fierce and loyal and will always tell you the truth whether you want to hear it or not. Our love affair also budded in Plattsburgh, NY in Wilson Hall. I should just tell you all now. We all lived on the same floor and we're still best friends so that means we were meant for each other. ANYWAY, Amanda doesn't follow the crowd. She's creative and insightful and takes the time to listen before responding or dissecting an issue. Literally no matter how much time passes in between us seeing one another we pick up exactly where we left off like no time has passed at all. I'm honored to have her stand by my side as I marry Jeff.

My little Swedish Fish and the last one of the Plattsburgh SCG's (can't tell you what that stands for or else we'd have to kill you)! Kristina taught me all about hockey and forged my love for the New York Rangers our freshman year. Fast forward to 2018 and she's working for a NHL team! Kristina has a huge heart and is compassionate and kind. She loves giving back to her community and she speaks two languages so like, that already makes her cooler than normal. Kristina is always up for a good time and is always down for some trivia and being your partner in crime. Hey Tina, remember that time in Clearwater you were so excited you were jumping on the bed and hit your head on the ceiling fan? I'm smiling as I type this. I can't wait to laugh the day away with you!
