We have both been in weddings and we have seen the hustle and bustle of a wedding day and how fast the day goes by. We wanted an out of country wedding where we would have time to fellowship and relax with all our guests prior to the wedding day. This will give us the opportunity to truly interact with you all! We also wanted a vacation-like atmosphere that provided food, drinks, activities and essentials within walking distance. Kevin and I LOVE the beach and the water so having the wedding in Jamaica was a no brainer as Kevin’s family is of Jamaican descent.
We love your kids——we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Sandals is an all inclusive adults only resort.
Cocktail/Formal beach attire. Both the ceremony and reception will be held outside. The cocktail hour will be held on the beach. Please wear comfortable shoes. The average temperature in the month of March is high 84 and low 70.
Yes, when you book your room at Sandals, Montego Bay there is a round trip car transfer included in your stay from the airport to the resort.
The RSVP tab is now available on our website. The deadline to attend the wedding is August 31, 2024.
As much as we want you there, if you do not RSVP by August 31st then alternate guests will be chosen.
As a courtesy to the bride and groom, please communicate with us IMMEDIATELY so that an alternate guest may be selected.
No, unless your name as well as your date’s name is on the invitation and RSVP page.
The bride and groom understand that this is also your trip that you paid for and took time off for. We do not expect you to be around us 24/7. The only thing we ask of you is to please attend the Welcome “Un-rehearsal Dinner” that we arranged on Friday night for dinner. Otherwise, the time is yours to spend as you wish! Please refer to the schedule tab on the website for more details.
We will be arriving Thursday, March 20 and departing Sunday, March 23rd. You’re welcome to come earlier or stay later in the week.
Although tips are technically included at this resort, you’ll want to bring some 1’s and 5’s for the bartenders or butler (depending if you choose the room with a butler) taking care of you throughout your stay. Keep in mind, your shuttle driver isn’t a part of the resort staff, so you may want to bring some cash for your transfer driver.
