It all started in the fall of 2017 when I started working at the call center for Southern Company Gas. Kevin was a dispatcher around that time and I had to call the dispatcher line to get some assistance with an account. Kevin answered the call and made me laugh as we had casual conversation. Little did I know we were going to be in a real life “Netflix Love is Blind” episode (IYKYK). We never saw what each other looked like but it was something about Kevin’s energy through the various phone calls that I was drawn to. I liked his conversation and (I hate to admit this) I liked his voice/tone. Kevin thinks he has the best voice ever *rolls eyes*. Let’s fast forward to one day when he came to visit the call center and found me sitting at my desk. He introduced himself and we chatted for a little bit. In that moment I told him we were actually going to be working together soon because I just got promoted. We stayed friends for a few months then one day I just asked Kevin for his personal number. Of course he gave it to me lol. October 4, 2018 was the day we went out on our first date after work. The rest is history!
