Question

What’s the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

This event is a Formal or Black-Tie Optional Wedding. What does Formal or Black-Tie Optional mean? For women: a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pants suit. For the Men: option of wearing a tuxedo or a formal dark suit, long sleeved dress shirt, and tie. Please respect our request & refrain from wearing the following colors: white, gold, light/pale/blush pink and any type of wine/burgundy or garnet. Please keep in mind that it is going to be held at an elegant venue and there will be a chance that it’ll be cold since it’s in the winter at night.

Question

Are children welcomed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I use my electronic devices during the wedding?

Answer

We are so excited that you’ll be joining us, and want you to relax & fully be present for our ceremony. We hired wonderful photographers & videographers who will capture every moment, and we’ll make sure to share those photos and videos as soon as we see them! With this in mind, we ask that you please refrain from taking any personal photos or videos during our ceremony. As for the reception, take as many as you’d like! Thank you so much for respecting our wishes. To share any photos you take during the reception, please use the hashtag #HundredAcreRobinson on social media!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We have a strict guest count that we must abide by. Please do not bring a plus one unless specified on the invitation.

Question

The centerpieces look so beautiful, can I take them?

Answer

Thank you but unfortunately you may not. Our centerpieces are not favors. Some of the items have been graciously lent to us and need to be returned after the wedding. We worked super hard to make every table unique. And for that, they are ours to keep.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We are working on getting a few hotel room blocks for our guests. We recommend using those or to possibly look into using Airbnb if you are traveling with several people.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

You can reach out to myself, David, our maid of honor Mia, our matron of honor Kelly or our wedding planner Eileen- (239) 440-6635

Question

It’s the day of the wedding and I have a question. How do I get in contact with someone?

Answer

Please refrain from calling the bride the day of the wedding. If there is a pressing issue on the day of the wedding, please reach out to Mia, Kelly or the wedding planner Eileen

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! Hors d’oeuvres will be served during the cocktail hour & we will have a buffet for dinner. While we will have a free open bar, we will also have photographers & videographers capturing all the drunken shenanigans all night long and they will be mocked for years to come.... so proceed with caution!

Question

Is the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes absolutely

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking is completely free and located at the venue. Please keep in mind that there will be police officers located in the parking lot. So drinking and driving will not be tolerated. The venue is located just a few minutes from any of the hotels we will get room blocks at, so uber or Lyft rides will not be expensive. Your vehicles will be allowed to remain in the parking lot overnight.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least a 1/2 hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the ceremony started as scheduled!

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both are taking place at Kapok Special Events Center. The address is: 923 N McMullen Booth Rd Clearwater, FL 33759 United States

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors? What will the weather be like?

Answer

Both will be held inside, however, there will be an outside section to enjoy. As for the weather, please take in consideration it’ll be nighttime in December so it could get chilly. Yes, it gets cold here in Florida during the winter. Don’t say we didn’t warn you! It could also rain. Florida is super unpredictable.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to “cocktail hour” where Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.
