She’s my ultimate travel buddy, the kind of friend who once jumped on the back of an ex so I could handle business (yes, she’s that ride-or-die), and one of the smartest, most caring people I know. She’s also one of the most adventurous and courageous women on the planet! I’m beyond honored to have her by my side as I celebrate this next chapter. Meet Dr. Jackie Mahatha-Mason Thirty years of friendship—where do I even begin? You’ve been my inspiration, my role model, my partner in crime, and so much more. From cruising in the White Hyundai to the clubs (those were the days!) to guiding me through career decisions, you’ve been there for it all. You’ve listened to every story, kept my secrets, wiped my tears, and stood by me through heartaches, family trials, and everything in between. Our friendship started on the UNO basketball court, but it quickly grew into something so much bigger. You’re my best friend—the one I can tell anything to, knowing you’ll always have my back. I couldn’t ask for a better person to stand beside me on this special day. After all, we both prayed for this kind of love, and God delivered—you with Brian, and me with Ludovic.
