THE QUINTA

THE QUINTA

Gradil, Portugal

This incredible family operated vineyard holds so much history and we are thrilled to be planning our wedding in this special place. Having never been to Portugal, we are equally excited to experience the place and culture together for the first time, with our closest loved ones.

Car Rental

Car Rental

Lisbon, Portugal

The average price for renting the smallest and cheapest available car for a week in high season is around €300 (with tax, insurance and unlimited mileage) if booked from abroad, and a similar amount when booked through a Portuguese firm.

TOLLS

TOLLS

Lisbon, Portugal

If you are renting a car ask about utilizing the V-Pass. This allows you to use the “no-stop lane” at the toll booths and pay all tolls at once when you return the car. There are many toll booths, so it is worth the 1.80euro/day charge for the device

TRANSPORT

TRANSPORT

Lisbon, Portugal

Portugal has a number of options for getting around. In Lisbon and the greater, you can get around pretty easily by train, tram, bus, or taxi. Of course, you can always rent a car. Depending on how much adventuring you plan to do, read up on the different options available and see what works best for you!

MONEY

MONEY

Lisbon, Portugal

Portugal uses the Euro as its currency. The best way to handle the currency in this small town, is to use cash only. Credit cards may not always be reliable. There are ATMs located in the Lisbon Airport, at gas stations, in Ericeira, but I am not guaranteeing that there is an ATM in Gradil.

Outlets

Outlets

Lisbon, Portugal

The outlet type is “C” and the voltage in Portugal is 230V in Portugal. A converter would be necessary for hair dryers and curling irons from the US (most often rated to 110V-120V)
