We recommend arriving in Guatemala as early as possible to avoid traffic. Generally, we take the 11pm flight departing LAX to arrive in Guatemala at around 6 am. The flight is tiring but you'll be happy you skipped traffic! 4 hour flight there and 5 hour flight back.
