Awkward first dates are one thing, awkward dinner meetups with a group of 20 strangers is another. After a mutual acquaintance invited us to a "dinner with friends" that turned out to be a surprise Reddit meetup group, we both were a bit out of our element. As luck would have it, we sat across from each other that evening and felt a connection. It took us one summer in the city to fall in love and the rest is history! Well, minus one of us leaving the country for a year... With Robin's job moving to London, Arnab couldn't help but take advantage of that opportunity and show Robin his true passion for traveling the world. After trips together to Scotland, Spain, Denmark, and Turkey - it was obvious that we had found lifelong travel partners with one another. We were reunited in 2022 when Robin took a new job back in NYC, and we realized we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. Arnab proposed to Robin after a gorgeous day of hiking in Fire Valley in Nevada, and we decided that we wanted to be AMAP (as married as possible). Therefore, we embarked on our journey of the three marriages and celebrated a courthouse marriage ceremony with our parents and Robin's sister on June 26, 2023 followed by our Indian ceremony with Arnab's family and friends in Kolkata on December 15, 2023. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you! As they say, the third time's the charm!
