A note from the couple

If you have found yourself with an invitation to our wedding, this means that you are someone who is near and dear to our hearts. So much so that we could not imagine our most special day without your presence. We are extremely excited to celebrate with all of you. For those interested, we've provided a bit about our story: Our love story began in 2018 at a friend's apartment shortly before we headed to Los Angeles to attend a music festival (something out of character for both of us). Somehow everyone in this group of friends had already met except for us. Neither of us had any expectations of making any meaningful connections that day; Emma had even sworn off dating entirely at the time! When Emma walked inside and we saw each other for the first time, however, both of us would earnestly tell you that it was LOVE (or if not love, at the very least INTEREST) at first sight. We gravitated toward one another as we wandered in a daze through the many concerts, deep in conversation between sets of loud music. Each night we all returned exhausted to our shared hotel room and collapsed onto the couch, where somehow Emma always ended up snugly near Jonathan. Once the weekend ended and we went our separate ways, Jonathan was desperate for any excuse to see Emma again. The best he came up with was to offer her a truly hideous T-shirt as a keepsake from the festival. Graciously, she accepted, and we were reunited in the basement of the SDSU library. From that day, it did not take long for our relationship to blossom. We have been mostly inseparable ever since, as we live out every adventure and bad idea that comes into our minds. We look forward to all of you joining us as we take this next monumental step in our lives. For everyone who said it would be physically impossible for us to be any closer, here's to proving you wrong!
