All international travelers need to complete and submit for a Digital Immigration (DI) Card. The form is at https://dicardcuracao.com/dicard and free to register, but please be sure to submit it AT LEAST 48 HOURS before arrival. Otherwise you can expect a quick turnaround at customs with a seat on a flight back home!

We are so incredibly grateful that you’re making the trip to Curaçao to celebrate with us, we couldn't possibly ask for anything more than the gift you all have given us both in our lives. Your presence, your love, and your kindness are what we hope to pass forward in our own family. I've heard cast iron cookware lasts for generations too, but your presence is more than enough.

Arrival & Shuttle Services

Please inform Vera of your flight arrivals to Curacao and she will coordinate with Sandals to ensure the celebrations begin as soon as you land. Once you make your way through customs (with Digital Immigration Card confirmations at the ready), you should be able to spot the Sandals Lounge where staff will be awaiting with luggage and shuttle service. If arriving outside of Lounge hours, a Sandals Kiosk will be in its place and staff will be there ready for you. Be sure to send your flight details over to vepassociatestravel@gmail.com!

Cash & Tips

Although USD is widely accepted by most businesses on the island, if you plan on spending some time outside of the resort and have a penchant for the street markets then you may want to grab some Caribbean guilders. The exchange rate is pegged to the US dollar at a fixed rate of 1USD=1.79Cg and was only just introduced in March, 2025! Just a reminder, Sandals strictly prohibits tipping of staff with exceptions allowed only for butlers and spa services.

A Few Quirky Packing Tips

Reef Safe Sunscreen is a must! Your local Target may stock this, but Amazon is likely your best bet (I know, I don't like it either) for a good quality brand that is Hawaii Reef Act 104 compliant like Coral Isles. The wind will be windy so don't leave the hat at home! Besides, who doesn't love a good reason to buy a big, billowing sunhat? I'll take 3.

What to Wear Where

Answer

For wedding related events, feel free to dress to your comfort - so long as it is still resort appropriate. And a little style never hurt either. For those that prefer a bit of inspiration, think Stevie Nicks at White Lotus or Golfing With Obama. Collars and layers, but breathable and light. It is also worth nothing, the restaurant Vincent will require jeans or dress pants as well as dress shoes for men, so either plan to skip the Vincent dining experience or bring some pants and nice shoes. I'll be at the food trucks.

We will be sharing our coordinates throughout the week if you want to meet up, but if you want some alone time to explore or nap by the pool, we totally get it. Eat, drink, and relax.

Just a heads-up for when you're looking for dinner: things move a little slower out here on "island time"! We highly recommend heading out at least an hour earlier than you normally would. Restaurants can get super busy during peak hours, if you plan to dine between 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM, definitely expect a bit of a wait.
