Wedding Party

Alethia Lee

Matron of Honor

Alethia, my Matron of Honor and the older sister I always wished for. When she became part of our family, she also became an irreplaceable part of my life. She has been a constant source of love, guidance, and strength. I am endlessly grateful to have her in my corner through every season, protecting me and always ready to fight on my behalf. I feel so blessed to call her my sister and to have her as a role model in my life. She’s not only fiercely loving but also endlessly generous; pretty much everything nice that I own can be traced back to her. She is kindness, loyalty, and warmth wrapped into one, and I couldn’t imagine this day without her standing beside me.

Elizabeth Augsburger

Maid of Honor

Liz, my Maid of Honor and my oldest friend. I’ve known her since we were five years old, when a chance meeting on a playground turned into a lifelong bond. From playing make-believe and hiding in closets from imaginary monsters to navigating an ACT/SAT prep course together, Liz has been by my side through every chapter of growing up. She has seen every version of me, shared in countless memories, and remained a constant through it all. She’s been my built-in best friend, my chosen sister, someone I’ve laughed with, fought with like siblings do, and loved fiercely through every stage of life. I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side, and I love her more than words can say.

Mary Kanzler

Bridesmaid

I met Mary in a math class, where we quickly bonded over writing proofs and spending far too much time discussing suits that were definitely too big. What started as shared study sessions turned into a friendship filled with countless memories. We spent many evenings at Grant’s, always ordering the apple salad with the fried goat cheese balls, laughing about everything and nothing at the same time. We’ve also had our fair share of nights dancing the night away. Mary is one of the smartest people I know—thoughtful, and endlessly curious. Watching her pursue her dream of becoming a doctor has been incredibly inspiring, and I have no doubt she will make an amazing physician. I feel so lucky that a math class brought us together and even luckier to call her my friend.

Kaylin Cho

Bridesmaid

I met Kaylin in medical school, and from the start it was clear that time with her would never be boring. Whether we were studying together or taking a break to go out in Chicago, we always managed to have fun and make the most of every moment. She truly made medical school so much more bearable. Kaylin is one of the most driven people I know. She works incredibly hard while being naturally smart and has this amazing ability to turn her goals into reality, whatever she sets her mind to, she makes happen. At the same time, she effortlessly makes everyone around her laugh. Her humor and energy have a way of lifting everyone’s spirits, even on the most stressful days. I feel so blessed that medical school brought us together. Kaylin is not only an incredible friend, but someone who constantly inspires the people around her.

Jenna Park

Bridesmaid

Jenna has always been my most adventurous and active friend. We were roommates in college, and life with her was never dull. There was always a new adventure, or a new pet moving into our place. We had rats, a snake, a cat, and even a bird she was carefully nursing back to health. Jenna has always had an incredible heart and a natural instinct for caring for others, especially animals who needed a little extra love. It’s no surprise at all that she has grown into such an amazing veterinarian today. I feel so lucky to have shared those years as roommates and to have had a front-row seat to the beginning of the passion that has become her career. Jenna’s adventurous spirit, compassion, and loyalty make her such a special friend, and I’m so grateful to have her in my life.

Livia Wyss

Bridesmaid

Livia has a way of making every moment more fun. Some of my favorite memories are our nights out together, running around Trinity, dancing the night away, and somehow turning a random Tuesday night it into one we’d never forget. She can get along with anyone and has a way of making everyone feel comfortable and included. She’s also one of the calmest people I know, no matter the situation, she stays level-headed. On top of all that, Livia is brilliant. Pursuing her PhD at Stanford is just one example of her incredible intelligence, and dedication. Beyond all the fun memories, she is someone you can always count on. Whether you need advice, or an ear she is always there with steady support and kindness. She’s truly just such a cool person, and I feel so honored to call her my friend.

Eric Pedigo

Best Man

Peds and I met in third grade as next-door neighbors, and people quickly started assuming we were brothers—which honestly makes sense given how inseparable we were. He’s been stuck with me ever since. From driving me to school most days to countless college visits and a lifetime of unforgettable memories, he’s been a constant source of loyalty, support, and laughs. He’s seen every version of me and somehow still agreed to be my best man—which tells you everything you need to know about the kind of friend he is.

Omar Alsbiei

Groomsman

My first cousin and lifelong friend, we grew up visiting each other for holidays filled with family time, movie marathons, and memories that somehow always ended at a music festival. Now living in Tucson and thriving in medical school en route to becoming an anesthesiologist, he’s proof that you can be both incredibly smart and incredibly fun. I’m lucky to have him as my cousin—and even luckier to have him as a groomsman.

Anthony Corrado

Groomsman

ToeKnee and I met in middle school, and from the very beginning, his outgoing personality was impossible to ignore. I’ll never forget the time we shimmied in front of the whole class, leaving everyone in stitches—an early sign of his lifelong mission: making people laugh. Hilarious, charming, and now a comedian in his own right, he’s been a great loyal and supportive friend and an endless source of laughs ever since.

Grant Viola

Groomsman

Grant and I met in high school, and if you know him, you know he’s a character. He has a gift for cracking jokes and getting under your skin just enough to make you open up. Beneath that humor is a deeply loyal and genuine friend. Late-night Xbox Call of Duty sessions with Grant and his now wife, Mary, were a constant during medical school and board prep — and unknowingly, they helped get me through it all. They’ve also been amazing hosts in Florida, always making us feel at home. I’m incredibly grateful to call Grant one of my closest friends.

Jack Hennessy

Groomsman

Jack and I met in middle school, and if you know him, you know he’s one of the kindest and most loyal people you’ll ever meet. His energy is contagious, and he has a way of making everyone feel instantly welcome. Whether it was his constant positivity or breaking into a freestyle rap just to get a laugh, Jack has always brought joy to every room he’s in. I’m incredibly grateful to call him one of my closest friends and to have him by my side on this day.

Perry Zumbrook

Groomsman

Pbaby and I met in fifth grade and quickly bonded over our shared love of music — a connection that’s only grown stronger over the years. His house (and legendary backyard trampoline) became our go-to hangout spot and even a familiar landmark during the Glen Ellyn Fourth of July parade. Starting freshman year of high school, we took our love of music on the road, going to festivals all over Chicago and making Lollapalooza an annual tradition since 2010. Through every phase of life, he has been a constant source of support, and I’m incredibly grateful to have him by my side.

Peter Fallon

Groomsman

Peter and I met in middle school and became best friends almost instantly. From countless sleepovers to long summer days riding longboards and bombing hills in Glen Ellyn, we grew up side by side. Even when life took us to different high schools, our friendship never skipped a beat. He has always been there for me — steady, loyal, and encouraging — and never fails to remind me how proud he is of me. Having him stand by my side today means more to me than words can say.

John Hartigan

Groomsman

John and I met in middle school and grew especially close in high school. Some of my favorite memories are the late summer nights we spent longboarding from house to house, talking about life and enjoying the freedom of those moments. John has been a steady, loyal presence through the years, and I’m grateful to have him as one of my closest friends and by my side on this day.

James Stanghor

Groomsman

Jimmy is more than my brother-in-law — he quickly became a brother. We lived together in Chicago with my sister, and during that time he was a constant source of support and encouragement. Whether it was supporting me during my time in undergrad, or helping with whatever project my dad dreamed up or just being there when it mattered most, Jimmy always showed up. From the start, he felt like family — and that’s exactly who he is.

Samuel Lee

Officiant

Introducing Sam, Rach’s brother and Rob’s soon-to-be brother-in-law and basically our unpaid life manager. We are so honored that he has agreed to be our officiant. Sam knows us both incredibly well and has seen us at our worst, but he continues to be there for us, thoughtful and unwavering. We couldn’t imagine anyone better to guide us through this special day.
