An iconic building meets a stunning collection. Watch the Burke Brise Soleil (the “wings”) of the Santiago Calatrava–designed Quadracci Pavilion open with the Museum at 10 a.m., and close with the Museum at 5 p.m. (8 p.m. on Thursdays). Four floors of over forty galleries of art are rotated regularly with works from antiquity to the present in the Museum’s far-reaching collection. The galleries display more than 2,500 pieces of art, including one of the largest collections of work by Georgia O’Keefe, and a quarterly-changing featured exhibition.
