Is there a dress code?

Answer

At the resort - Wear whatever you would like. Keep in mind, some restaurants do require men to wear long pants and collard shirts. At the wedding - Beach Attire: Wear linen pants, short-sleeved button downs, maxi dresses, and sandals. Please be aware there is a short walk on a cobble stone path to get to the beach and the wedding will take place in the sand. Ladies you may want to skip the stilettos just this one time. :-)

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome at the wedding venue; however, Secrets Vallarta Bay is an adult only resort but it is connected to Dreams Vallarta Bay a family friendly resort. If you were to stay at Dreams with the kiddos, they would not be allowed on the Secrets side of the resort.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend you stay at the host resort, Secrets Vallarta Bay. We will be staying there and would love to spend as much time as possible with our guests.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, if you are staying at Secrets Vallarta Bay, there will be a shuttle bus to take us to the marina. From the marina there will be a private boat to transport us to the wedding venue. If you are not staying at Secrets Vallarta Bay, you will need to meet us at the marina. The private boat will be leaving at precisely 4:30pm and there will not be any other boats to take you to the venue.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

If you are staying at Secrets Vallarta Bay, the shuttle to the marina will be leaving the resort at 4:00pm. If you are not staying at Secrets Vallarta Bay, the private boat will leave the marina at 4:30pm. DO NOT MISS IT! There won't be another boat to catch.
