American and Scotts travel to Poland

Traveling to Zakopane is best done through Kraków, Poland via Kraków John Paul II International Airport. We recommend staying a night or two in Kraków to enjoy the city and make your way to Zakopane once you have had a nights rest. Once you have arrived in Kraków, there are many Flixbus and train options that will take you to the mountain town of Zakopane- which is about 2-3 hours South of Kraków, on the boarder with Slovakia. Car rental is also an option. First class train tickets are about $15. Tickets available at https://www.pkp.pl/en/ and https://www.flixbus.com/ Taxi from Krakow to Zakopane would cost around 400PLN Magdalena and Robert plan on being in Kraków from Oct. 5th-8th and being in Zakopane from Oct. 8th-12th.
