The gondola sounds great but do I need my own gear or what if I can't make it for 8AM on Friday?

Answer

There are plenty of hiking rental shops in the city of Zakopane for your convenience. Otherwise, you can view the scenes from the observatory and easily get the gondola back down. Even if you don't go for 8AM to join the hike down, going up at any point during your time in Zakopane is worthwhile!

Question

Where should we stay in Krakow when we arrive until we decide to take the train to Zakopane?

Answer

Magda recommends to stay in the old town as there are many historical hotels and restaurants. Also, please reference the "Things to do" page or reach out for more information.

What if we only have a short amount of time in Krakow to spend (<36 hours)?

Answer

There is plenty of information if you follow the links such as the "Jewish Quarter" in things to do that list local tours, restaurants, itinerary, etc.

Question

We want to make it to Poland however, we are uncertain about the current global status and issues- what do you recommend?

Answer

While we are aware that certain events are happening that affect global travel, we would HIGHLY recommend that you get travel insurance through a third party for all flights, accommodations, and deposits you make. At the very least, ensure that you are covered with the airline or through your credit card, as to not leave yourself losing out if something happens or things change...
