FAQs

Question

When do I RSVP?

Answer

Formal invitations will be sent out as the wedding date approaches.

Question

When should I arrive in town?

Answer

We recommend arriving by Friday afternoon if you’d like to join us for the welcome party! It’s the perfect chance to kick off the weekend's festivities.

Question

What is the easiest way to get to New Hope from NYC?

Answer

We recommend taking NJ Transit from Penn Station to Trenton, then grabbing a taxi or Uber to New Hope (about 25 minutes from the station). Driving from NYC takes about 1.5 hours.

Question

Which airport do I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into the Philadelphia Airport, and taking a car into New Hope. It's easiest to pick up a rental car or Uber, depending on your preferences. A secondary option is the Newark Airport, which is roughly an hour and 15 minute car ride to New Hope.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will have shuttles running between the hotels in New Hope, AirBnBs within 5 miles from the River House, and the wedding venue. Transportation will not be provided on Friday night. More details about pickup times and locations will be shared closer to the big day.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Please reference the travel page. Guests who choose to drive can park in the designated offsite lot (385 W Bridge St, New Hope, PA 18938). A shuttle will be available to bring you back to the River House from there. Guests staying at the River House may park at the River House.

Question

Are children welcome at the wedding?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a fun night out with us!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Friday’s dress code is cocktail attire. Saturday is black tie. This means tuxedos for men and long, formal dresses for women.

Question

May I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate the guests specifically named on each invitation. If a plus-one has been included, their name or “and Guest” will appear on your invitation and when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding and helping us celebrate with our closest family and friends.
