We met in the spring of 2018 at a Valentine’s Day date party for Rob’s fraternity. Plot twist: we weren’t each other’s dates. But somewhere between a heated debate about New York sports and a shared love of all things Jewish, something clicked. Unfortunately, the timing wasn’t quite right. Madison was heading to Israel for the summer, then off to Copenhagen for study abroad. But as Madison’s mom kept saying (on repeat), “Distance makes the heart grow fonder.” And she was right. About a year after we first met, Rob called Madison over FaceTime - not just to say hi, but to say “I love you.” That moment marked the beginning of our relationship, and before long, he was on a flight to Denmark. Since then, we’ve navigated post-grad life in Boston, moved to NYC, and traveled the world together. After 7.5 years together, from FaceTime to Chuppah, we’re finally making it official, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you by our side!
