No need to rehearse anything, since we've been down the aisle before! Just wanting to get together, love each other, and have some great Wisconsin & North Carolina food on the grill! Men, be prepared to hang around the grill, while we women watch and relax!
9:00 pm - 11:30 pm
Your beautiful self!
Let's face it ... we're getting married in a college town; we're both back in college; but: we aren't 21 anymore! It's Friday night in Chapel Hill, and we've searched high and low for a cool place to hang with friends that doesn't include jello shots, frat guys, and darts. Hence, we're going old school (as in old) in choosing this cozy lounge, with a fireplace!, to kick off our evening of fun. Several pubs on Franklin Street will have live music, so if we are feeling rambunctious, we can always ditch the lounge and head out to jam! The wedding ceremony isn't until 2:00pm, so we can stay out late, we promise! http://www.marriott.com/hotels/hotel-photos/rduah-ac-hotel-chapel-hill-downtown/
2:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Comfortably romantic ... whatever makes you feel the love!
We are honored to have Robert's cousin, Ed, perform our ceremony! Thanks Cousin Ed! We promise to make it brief and meaningful, because we're asking y'all to stand for 15 minutes ... although there will be seating for those whose emotions overflow!
2:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Your beautiful self!
NC BBQ at its finest, with a champagne toast, and the cutting of the cake. Beer, champagne, and wine will be provided. If you like something else, please feel free to bring it along! Lisa & Robert might just have a good bottle of Scotch on hand for those who like to smell and imbibe in the peat of our ancestors' craggy-shored islands.
8:00 pm
Definitely casual by this time of night!
Hoping to see everyone join us after a brief post-nuptial nap to talk, laugh & love at the local tavern! It's going to be fun. We spoke with Gary Crunkleton and he is offering us all a great place to enjoy good music, fine spirits and celebrate a wonderful happening. The best of bourbon, great taps and generally a fantastic time!

We discovered this place on our first trip back to NC together. It's some of the best food in the Triangle! Anyone who is still around and hungry is welcome to join us for some Southern grits (and shrimp, if you eat that sort of thing!). It's close to the airport, so if you're flying out of RDU, you're about 20 minutes away from your check-in! Just check out the menu: http://primalfoodandspirits.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/primal-brunch-August-2017-.pdf Hmmmmm .....
