She's a pitching princess (watch out Cat Osterman), globe-trotting, and bookkeeping fashionista who just celebrated own sassy slugger, Alayna, turning 1 with hubby Justin. Her current fur babies include 3 puppy giants and 1 fierce feline.

Best Man
Robert's best man and little cousin, Ian, has known Robert longer than he can remember. Growing up, trips between New Jersey and Austin to see each other happened frequently. Though cousins, when they are together they feel more like siblings. They are both huge nerds who share a deep love of making music. With Ian now living in Philadelphia and both cousins living busy lives, it isn't always easy for them to see each other. However, they make it a point to do so as often as they can and make the most of their time when they get it.

AKA Tater Tot, AKA Princess Cookie is the youngest of the Townsend ladies, a Disneyland/Harry Potter World/road trip traveler, a once upon a time softball and football player, and lover of animals including her 3 dogs, 1 cat, multiple reptiles, and various creatures met at the beautiful Inks Lake State Park. Oh, and a Cameron, with whom she is excitedly planning fall nuptials as well!
Madison Rawn

Madison met Robert while working at Apple about ten years ago. They bonded over their mutual love for fantasy role playing games, tech, and general nerdiness. They both eventually moved from Dallas to Austin where Madison now works as a paramedic. When he and his wife Kelsey got married in 2018, Robert stood by his side as a groomsman. In his free time Madison enjoys woodworking projects, gaming and hiking.

"LN" and Chelsea became theater and choir besties in 8th grade meaning hours of goofing off in costumes, concerts, and cafeterias. She's the finance and operation #BOSS for a media non-profit, a trekker of the Western Hemisphere, chocolate ice cream enthusiast, and active binger of today's top reality love shows. Of course there's a pup and a kitty in this household with husband Blake.
Travis Brown
Groomsman
Travis and Robert met playing magic in middle school about 18(!) years ago. Since starting in that local VFW hall, they have played everywhere from DC to Seattle, seeing sights and having shenanigans along the way (most of which they remember). While they sometimes disagree on things, there is never doubt that they are each doing what they genuinely think is best for the other. As Travis puts it: "I mean, we have known each other for so long that what are we supposed to do to find another dude we can shoot the shit with this much? Get on grindr? I think NOT! You're stuck with me dude. You're the closest thing I've got to a brother, brother."

Lady Loretta and Chelsea ran into each other at a college "party" as a result of one guy (Robert) inviting another guy (Nicu). Lo and behold, a best friendship was formed amongst loud music and spiked punch! She is a renowned musician for the young and millenial, celebrated birthday cake baker, land and library adventurer, board game ravager, and mother of 1 puppercino, 2 scale babies, and 1 human, Ada. And there's hubby Nicu of course! They are now expecting a second bundle of joy in October and will be joining us in spirit!

Nicu and Robert met in an airport on their return trip to nerd camp in Silicon Valley. They were both too savvy to take the overpriced shuttle, and split a cab instead. After they returned to the 512 area code, they quickly became close friends, sharing interests such as marching band, ice cream, frisbee, and of course tech. After college, they both eventually ended up living in north Austin within biking distance of each other. Nicu traded the startup life for a steady job at a large software company in order to spend more time with his family, including three pets from two classes of the animal kingdom, his wife Loretta, and their daughter Ada. A new little one will arrive in October!
