¡Nos vamos a casar!

Briseyda and Robert’s story started in a very 21st century way: online. But they both knew very early on that their love sprouted from the first conversation about their Frida Kahlo tattoos. After their first date at The Secret Garden, their love blossomed. So much so that nearly a year into their relationship, they moved to Phoenix together. There they adopted their and everyone else’s favorite dogs, Freya and Ares. Fast forward years later and they now live in Richmond. In 2024 Robert took Briseyda back to their first date spot where he proposed to her in front of both of their families. This beautiful moment is now followed by the culmination of their love in this wedding. Throughout their relationship, they’ve both referred to each other as their “life partner,” and this is just another step in the long walk they’ll take together in their lives.
