FAQs

The Wedding Website of Alise Squiric and Robert Panish
We know planning international travel comes with lots of questions! We hope this guide helps, but if you need more information, please reach out before September—after that, we will be deep in final wedding planning mode.
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Formal invitations will be sent in the coming months. We kindly ask that you respond by early June.

Question

Which airport do I fly into?

Answer

We recommend you fly into Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) - it's the main international airport and the most convenient for getting to Sitges.

Question

How do I get to Sitges?

Answer

Sitges is a beautiful seaside town about 30 minutes south of Barcelona and easy to get to. From Barcelona Airport: Train: From Terminal 2, connect at El Prat de Llobregat for the R2 Sud line (~45 mins total) Bus: MonBus runs direct buses (~30–40 mins) Taxi/Uber: ~30 minutes, around €65–75

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. While we adore your kids, we hope you'll enjoy this as an opportunity for a grown-up adventure in Spain!

Question

What if I want to stay in Barcelona?

Answer

Barcelona is an amazing city! If you choose to stay there, you'll need to get yourself to Sitges on the wedding day (train, bus, or taxi). Once you're in Sitges, shuttles will pick up from the hotel block to bring guests to Xalet del Nin.

Question

Where should I stay in Sitges?

Answer

We will reserve a block of rooms for your convenience. Shuttles will depart from this hotel to the venue and back. If you choose to stay elsewhere in Sitges, the hotel is an easy walk or short taxi away—there are also plenty of Airbnbs and other accommodation options available.

Question

How will I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Easy! Wedding shuttles will pick up from our hotel block and take you straight to Xalet del Nin—and back again after the celebration.

Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

Not necessary unless you want to explore more of Spain before/after. Public transport and taxis are easy for getting around Barcelona and Sitges.

Question

What’s the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Black tie optional; We’ll be celebrating at the beautiful Xalet del Nin overlooking the Mediterranean, so think elevated and elegant with a touch of seaside charm.

Question

What about the weather?

Answer

Expect Mediterranean sunshine! Evenings can be breezy, so a light wrap/jacket is a good idea.

Question

What do I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

We know traveling for an international wedding is no small commitment, and we completely understand if you're unable to join us. If you cannot attend, please mark your RSVP as "not attending."
