Founded by Norwegian immigrants, Poulsbo has retained it’s Scandinavian theme. The downtown area, and connected waterfront park offer multiple quaint shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Be sure to stop by Sluy’s Bakery for some life-changing baked goods.
With a mixture of pleasant neighborhoods nestled in old growth forests, a cute downtown and views of Puget Sound and the Olympic & Cascade Mountains, Bainbridge Island is one of Nick and Robel’s favorite quick escapes from the city. Head over to Fay Bainbridge Park for beach access and views of the sound.
Traveling from out of town? If you've never seen the Emerald City, you can take a ferry from Bainbridge Island to Seattle's bustling waterfront for a quick city adventure. Stroll along the waterfront, pick up a pastry at Pike Place, or test your immunity against communicable diseases at the gum wall.
The casino resort offers multiple restaurants/bars, a full service spa, indoor pool and gym. If you’re feeling lucky, feel free to head over to the casino. Chances are you’ll find Nick & Robel playing the Wild Pixies slot machine for pennies.
