Travel Note
Uber and Lyft are not as prevalent in Greenport as everywhere else. If you are going to need a ride to and from the wedding we recommend scheduling with Classy Cab (631) 276-7071 a month or two before the wedding. They can also provide pickups day of when you call, but estimated wait times are 10-45 minutes. We will be providing a shuttle post wedding to the heart of Greenport.

House Or Rental
There are various B&B and other accommodation options in the North Fork besides the hotels listed here. Booking.com and Trip Advisor are great resources. Airbnb, HomeAway and VRBO may also be a good option if booking for a large group -- the town of Greenport will have the least restrictions on minimum stay requirements for house rentals.
Travel Note
You can take the LIRR from Penn Station, Jamaica (accessible via the AirTrain from JFK) and various other Long Island towns to the North Fork area via the Ronkonkoma line -- transfer at Ronkonkoma to the train heading east towards Greenport, which stops in Greenport.
Travel Note
You can take a bus service from various pick-up points in the NYC area to the North Fork with stops available in Riverhead, Southold, and Greenport. Reservations are recommended, and a reduced fare is available if paid in advance. Click the view link to access the Hampton Jitney website, which is the main bus service in the area, with frequent service to and from the North Fork. If coming from the airport, please read through the airport connections information on the Hampton Jitney website.
Rental Car
You don't need a car to get to or around the North Fork, but it is an option depending on your preference. There are Uber, Lyft and taxi services available (best to schedule in advance)
Travel Note
NYC has tons of airports, but the the best airports to fly into to access the festivities (located on the North Fork on the East End of Long Island) are JFK, LGA or ISP. Depending on the airport you are flying into, there are various modes of transportation available (train, bus, car rental) to get out to the North Fork, which is approximately 2 hours depending on the starting point and traffic.
