Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No - while we love your kids, we kindly ask you leave them at home.

Question

Whats the dress code?

Answer

Welcome Cocktail Hour - Dressy Casual (think sundresses, dark jeans, trousers, etc. - note, its Vail in the fall and it will likely be chilly at night) Wedding - Cocktail/Semi-Formal (see "Gallery" tab for inspo).

Question

Will the events be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Welcome Cocktail Hour - Outdoor, but if weather is bad (rain or snow) we will move inside. Wedding - The ceremony is outside with no weather back up (fingers crossed). Cocktail hour is outside but could be moved inside if weather is bad. Reception is inside.

Question

What time should I arrive for the Ceremony?

Answer

You will arrive at the base of the Eagle Bahn Gondola (Lionshead Village) PROMPTLY at 4:15pm for lift up to the Holy Cross Event Deck for the Ceremony.

Question

Are the Ceremony and Reception at the same location?

Answer

No. The ceremony is taking place up on the Holy Cross Event Deck. You will arrive at the base of the Eagle Bahn Gondola (Lionshead Village) for a gondola ride up to the Deck. After that, you will ride the gondola back down and either walk or take the in-town shuttle over to the Solaris complex (Vail Village) for Cocktail Hour (the Solaris complex houses Chasing Rabbits, which is our cocktail hour and reception site). There is a 20 minute break between the ceremony and cocktail hour to accommodate for travel time between the two villages.

Question

How far apart are the Eagle Bahn Gondola and Chasing Rabbits?

Answer

Little over a half mile depending on your route. It takes roughly 10-15 minutes to walk from one to the other. Alternatively, you can simply take the inter-village shuttle to get over to Vail Village from Lionshead Village (takes about 3 minutes). There is a 20 minute break between the ceremony and cocktail hour to accommodate for travel time between the two villages. Feel free to take your time and enjoy Vail while we take pictures! Cocktails begin at 6:15 To walk: 1) Google maps a walking route to Solaris or Chasing Rabbit Restaurant (not the club). 2) Once at the big sculpture that looks like Cheetos in a martini glass, you have arrived. 3) Go get a drink. To take the shuttle: 1) Simply ask someone where the bus stop is or google maps "Lionshead Village - Eastbound Bus Stop" and walk there after you get off the gondola. 2) Get on an Eastbound bus. 3) Ride the bus approximately 4 stops to the Solaris bus stop. 4) Get off the bus. 5) Look for the big sculpture that looks like Cheetos in a martini glass, once you walk over to that, you have arrived. 6) Go get a drink.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

If you are staying in Vail, I would inquire with your hotel (specifically for overnight parking). If you are driving up for the day, I would park in either of the large public parking lots. Parking is not cheap overnight - expect to pay $60 a night depending where you are staying.
