About Rolling Ridge

Answer

Rolling Ridge is a Methodist Retreat Center located in Mary's hometown of North Andover. The Center was originally the 1920's private estate of a New York wool merchant, Ethan Allen (not the famous Vermont one) with a main house and several out buildings Located at the edge of Lake Cochichewick, it sits on a half mile of lakefront property with 38 secluded acres of woods and hills. Mary & Robbie chose this venue because guests from out of the area can stay overnight on the property. Mary & Robbie invite you to enjoy the grounds with its walking trails and summer seasonal activities

Rolling Ridge Accommodations

Answer

Bedrooms at the estate sleep 45 people. Linens and towels are provided. Rooms have private or shared bathrooms. 2 handicapped accessible rooms are available. Room sizes and bed options (queen, full, twin) vary across the property. The bride and groom will have their own private suite.

Rolling Ridge Policies

Answer

SMOKING: smoking is not allowed inside any Rolling Ridge building. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas. GUEST ROOMS AND FOOD: all food and beverages are to be kept in the Lakeside Gallery Dining Room and Sitting Room, or in your group meeting room. A guest fridge and microwave are available. QUIET HOURS: the time for evening quiet inside is 11pm, and 9pm outside. Thank you for respecting your fellow guests and our neighbors. FLAMES/CANDLES: per order of the North Andover Fire Department, no open flame, candles, or incense in the buildings of Rolling Ridge. Failure to abide will result in a $500 fee on your group's invoice. SERVICE ANIMALS: please read our policy on Service Animals if you plan to bring one. Please note: Absolutely no pets are allowed. LAKE COCHICHEWICK is a public water supply. Though kayaks and canoes are welcome, there is absolutely NO swimming or paddle boards allowed. Kayaks and canoes may be checked-out for use during lake season from May through October. TICKS! we are a facility on 38 acres, with trails in the forest. Ticks are a year-round concern, and you should be prepared with repellant and appropriate attire if outdoors. ROOM AMMENITIES: linen and towels are provided for each guest. Only groups with three overnights or more will receive a towel exchange. Guests are encouraged to bring their own toiletries, soap, shampoo, and hair dryer. An iron may be borrowed if needed. Because some bedrooms share a hallway bathroom, a bathrobe and slippers are encouraged. DAMAGED OR MISSING ITEMS: your room will be freshly cleaned, checked, and prepared before your arrival. We understand that accidents happen. However, if there are items damaged or missing from your room upon your departure and our staff was not informed, you will be notified and invoiced. WI-FI: free wi-fi is provided in the meeting areas, with limited access in the bedrooms. The PW for our guest access: restawhile.

Home made ice cream located on the other side of Lake Cochichewick Cows Rock, North Andover (Sells Richardson’s Ice cream) Smoliks at Smolak Farms, North Andover (Sells Richardson’s Ice cream) Richardson’s Ice Cream, Middleton, MA. Ice cream made on site from cows on the farm. If you’ve never experienced a New England Ice cream stand in the summer, this will be an experience. A small ice cream on a cone is large one anywhere else. Sometimes the lines look crazy long, but they move quickly because the kids behind the counter impressively carry multiple complex orders in their heads and hustle to deliver. Little ones can check out the cows. For a little non-ice cream fun, Mini-golf and a driving range sits adjacent to the ice cream stand.

Nationwide chain. You can get just about anything here. Carries a good range of diet friendly stock. Prices are higher, & lines tend to be shorter than Market Basket. Limited to go foods – mostly sandwiches, some salads. Sells wine. Butcher Boy Market, 1077 Osgood St, North Andover. Boutique grocery. Started out as a butcher & added the market around it. Small, but many unique items. Sells prepared foods and salads. Excellent bakery. Sells beer and wine.
