The Groom is led to the marriage venue on a horse in a procession known as the Baraat. He is accompanied by family members and friends known as baraatis. The dancing and music during a Baraat sets the mood for the rest of the wedding, with upbeat, exciting songs blasting as the Groom makes his way through the procession.
5:30 - 7:30 PM
The Indian Wedding ceremony is a long and elaborate, with every step rooted in Vedic tradition, signifying various aspects of life that is to follow after the wedding. The mandap-canopy or marriage stage is decorated with flowers and with a fire as witness, the Hindu wedding ceremony begins. Appetizers and chai will be served at 5:30 pm and dinner will be served at 7 pm. Guests can mingle and eat during the ceremony.
8:00 - 8:30 pm
The newly married couple performs their first dance, followed by other dances performed by the couple's friends and family. Please let us know if you would like to perform with us :)
8:30PM Onwards
The dance floor opens up to everyone. Enjoy the upbeat Bollywood music with us! At this time, the couple will be seated on stage and you can greet the newlyweds, take pictures, etc.
