Dresscode

'Semi-Formal/Cocktail' We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the day, so please interpret the dress code in a way that feels true to you! For guidance, we’re suggesting a 'semi formal/cocktail' to match the vibe of the wedding, so Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. (The bridal party will dress formal in Tuxedos for the men and the ladies in light, neutral colors) Having said the above, don’t feel pressured to adhere strictly. Your presence and personal style will make our celebration special! While still elegant, it's in your best interest to keep the attire practical and suitable for the autumn weather in Spain (the risk of rain is always there in October so please bring an extra layer with you) For the ladies, comfortable footwear is also recommended to bring with you as the venue includes grass, some cobblestones, and uneven terrain (walking from the cars to the house etc)

Gifts?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! However, if you’d like to give us something to celebrate our marriage, a contribution towards a future honeymoon would mean so much to us. You can use the link below if you'd like to contribute.

About Our Wedding Venue

Welcome to Can Marcer de la Penya, a 17th-century masia (a Catalan term for a large country house) that once produced 140,000 liters of wine annually. Restored to a high standard while preserving much of its original character, the villa provides a unique and charming setting. The villa accommodates up to 26 people and will host our immediate family. With a maximum guest capacity of 60, this wedding will be a small and intimate celebration. The venue is surrounded by nature, with the Garraf Natural Park nearby, as well as Olerdola and Foix Natural Parks. Barcelona is 40 minutes away, and the airport is a 30-minute drive. Sitges, just 10 minutes away, offers beaches, restaurants, bars, nightlife, outdoor activities, and boutiques. Sant Pere de Ribes, 5 minutes away, has supermarkets, tennis, and padel courts. Located in Penedes wine country, the area is close to renowned Cava wineries and rich in Catalan history, featuring Roman ruins, medieval castles, and Art Nouveau architecture.
