The Farm is owned and operated by a dentist, who has gone through extensive training regarding COVID-19 mitigation. There will be some changes to the wedding to help keep guests and staff safe: ~ All staff members at the Farm will go through a health screening before beginning their shift ~ Staff will be masked and gloved ~ Hand sanitizer will be readily available ~ We request that you refrain from personal contact with others outside the household ~ Seating at the outdoor ceremony will be spaced out to ensure social distancing ~ The Reception will take place in an open-air setting and will not be held in an indoor/closed door setting ~ Seating at tables will adhere to social distancing guidelines, and we will seat households and close social groups together so that guests will not have to be seated in close proximity to people they don't know or see often. ~ Food and drinks will be handed to you (via a gloved and masked staff member) to reduce common touch points.
We will provide a shuttle to and from the wedding venue. The shuttles will pick up guests from the host hotels at 4:00 p.m. and drop them off at the host hotels following the reception. You do not need to be a guest at the host hotel to use the shuttles.
We believe children are a blessing and a joy, however, we respectfully ask that this be an adults-only (21+) wedding. Asheville has plenty of child watch services for your little one during the ceremony and reception. Our friends have used care.com, urbansitter.com, and citysitters.com when attending weddings in Asheville.
We invite you to be fully present with us during the ceremony. We kindly ask that our guests turn off all cell phones and cameras during the processional and ceremony. Cell phones and cameras are more than welcome during the rest of the evening after the ceremony concludes.
The dress code for the wedding is "cocktail attire." This means suits and ties for men and a cocktail dress, dressy suit, or fancy jumpsuit for the ladies.
