Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Lauren Ballantoni and Rob Richter

A Wanderlust Adventure

June is the perfect month to go rafting, and it's become a little tradition for us to take our parents on the river with A Wanderlust Adventure. The guides are fun, the scenery is gorgeous, and it's the best way to kick off summer in Colorado. Dad and Kim, you're next!

Ten Bears Winery

For a true hidden gem, check out Ten Bears Winery. This small, family-run spot with grapes grown on the Western Slope, is off the beaten path that feels like a getaway. It's a perfect stop for anyone who loves good wine and supporting local makers.

Funkwerks

One of Lauren's favorite breweries! Funkwerks is known for its creative sour beers and has a great shaded patio for sipping and relaxing. If you're into something a little different and refreshing, this is the spot.

Zwei Brewing

One of Rob's favorites! Zwei specializes in German-style beers, which you can enjoy from a proper Maß (a big glass stein). There's usually a food truck parked out front, making it a great casual handout with delicious drinks and eats.

Tour New Belgium Brewery

A Fort Collins must-do. We've taken so many family members on this tour, and it never disappoints. New Belgium is iconic - people travel from all over to visit. Fun guides, great beer, and a chance to see behind the scenes of one of Colorado's most famous breweries.

Time Emporium Escape Rooms

We love puzzles and escape rooms, and Time Emporium is one of our favorites. The games are creative and immersive, and when you finally escape, you can celebrate with a drink at their bar. It's a fun way to spend an afternoon or evening together.

Hiking in Colorado

One of the best part of Colorado is simply getting outside. Whether it's a quick trail near town or a longer hike into the mountains, there's no shortage of incredible views. Hiking is our favorite way to slow down, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the natural beauty all around us. Just be sure to bring plenty of water, wear good shoes, and be prepared for mountain weather so you can enjoy the trails safely. Here are a few of our favorites: - Devil's Backbone -Coyote Ridge Trail -Horsetooth Falls -Dunraven Trailhead -Poudre River Trail via the Gateway Natural Area (paved path that follows the Cache la Poudre River)

Rocky Mountain National Park

If you're looking for breathtaking mountain views, wildlife, and classic Colorado scenery, Rocky Mountain National Park is a must-visit. Just over an hour from Fort Collins, it's perfect for a day trip. After Memorial Day, the park requires a timed-entry reservation, so be sure to plan ahead before you go.
