We met at a friend's wedding, where we were both in the wedding party. During one of the events at a brewery, we ended up talking over a friend's seat at the bar. She spotted the spark, gave up her spot, and nudged us together so we could keep the conversation going. A few days later, Southwest canceled Lauren's flight (best cancellation ever!!), which gave us time for our first date at Grimm Brothers Brewery. Neither of us wanted to leave that first date, and we promised to keep in touch by exchanging dog photos, which led to us talking almost every day across two time zones. It didn't take long to realize we'd stumbled into something pretty special.
