Matron of Honor
Jess and Jenn have not always been each other’s best friend. Believe it or not, they had a true sisterly relationship at the very beginning… you know, the name calling, attitude filled arguments over seemingly stupid things type of relationship. Yet over time, they realized how special each was to the other in their daily lives. You can count on knowing those two will always sing their loudest, make stupid videos, and laugh endlessly around each other for the rest of their lives. Jess is truly Jenn’s favorite person (aside from Rob of course) and is so lucky to have the rarest relationship that a sister can have.
Best Man
Jon and Rob have known each other since the moment they went to The Naval Academy Preparatory School (NAPS) together. After living right across the hall, they decided to become roommates for the next 4 years at The Naval Academy. Jon is the brother that Rob never had and will always be Rob’s go-to man, no matter the distance.
Maid of Honor
Alexis and Jenn have been friends since middle school. The relationship they have today was born through four years of countless hours spent in cross country and track practice, lunch periods together, and foody dates. The friendship that Alexis and Jenn have today is one full of stories, dumb pictures, lengthy amounts of time sitting in a car, and – what some would call – senseless conversation. Jenn admires the humility, humor, and depth that Alexis brings to her life. The friendship that Alexis brings into Jenn’s life is irreplaceable and one that will last until the very end.
Groomsman
The relationship that Papi and Rob have is one that will withstand time. Rob makes every effort to remind Bryce of his true age with overbearing reminders of Bryce’s ever growing gray hairs. Even though he is only a couple years older than Rob, Bryce’s maturity and loving relationship has guided Rob through countless life lessons. Jokes aside, Bryce has always been a role model to Rob. Bryce has always had his back, like when he patched the hole that Rob punched in a wall.
Bridesmaid
Macie and Jenn may not have chosen each other on their own, but Jenn sure won the lottery when it comes to a sister-in-law. Jenn has known Macie since the beginning of Jenn’s high school career. Macie shared Scrapbooking (one of her favorite hobbies) with Jenn, unintentionally making it one of Jenn’s favorite hobbies, too. At the same time, Jenn inspired Macie to hike her first 14ner with Jenn (under loving support and supervision from Jake). Their relationship is full of Jenn admiring Macie’s amazing cooking, being equally susceptible to Keegan’s (her son) lady slaying skills, and endless memories camping.
Groomsman
The relationship Jake and Rob have made has been utterly unintentional. Jake and Rob have bonded over shooting various guns, whiskey, home building improvements, and life advice. Rob has grown to look up to Jake in so many ways, starting with appreciating the figure Jake represents in Rob’s life. Not only is he an older brother to Rob, but guides him in almost a parental way (thanks to Jake’s new role as a father). Rob is so fortunate to know that he will always have someone to turn to for quality conversation, beer, and time spent with family.
Bridesmaid
Kat and Jenn may only have a few memories tucked within their time knowing each other, but they usually entail making fun of Rob or conversations that make him want to go to bed. Kat is quick to thank me for helping Rob grow up, while setting an example of taking steps toward her personal goals. Kat’s hopes for leaving the Navy to start her own business and dive into real estate falls nicely within her priority of her dog Kyle, coffee & wine bars, and artsy photos (speaking from experience). Jenn is so excited for all the memories to come and to have puppy play dates soon.
Groomsman
Dan is the homie that Rob can just hang out with. Rob finds the most comfort with Dan knowing that their time together will be completely chill. Rob looks up to Dan’s intelligence and passion to truly understand things, along with the “I won’t get involved” personality. Dan and Rob have the most similar laid-back energy, while Dan still constantly entertains Rob with sarcastic humor. Rob truly looks forward to spending more time with Dan, especially while Dan is stationed in Germany. The time Rob and Dan have together is limited, but is never taken for granted. Rob truly appreciates knowing that Dan’s presence will always surround Rob with humbling conversation and a good time.
Bridesmaid
Lauren and Jenn shared their college experience together at the Naval Academy. They were in the same company during their first two years at Navy and then roommates during their second year. Lauren and Jenn spent their time staying up late to talk about life, watching movies regularly instead of doing homework, and going out for dinner. Lauren carries Jenn in pickleball every time they play together. Jenn’s experience at Navy has been dramatically better knowing she has Lauren – someone so kind, patient, and quick to share a laugh.
Groomsman
Evan’s energy and confidence is unmatched. Rob appreciates Evan’s generational humor and constant whiskey talk. Rob learned to love various types of whiskey after spending lengthy amounts of time sipping and learning about his collection. Rob is not the best cook and always appreciates Evan’s guidance in the kitchen to improve his cooking skills. Evan’s experiences with family-work life balance is one that Rob admires, along with Evan’s ability to understand policies and do research. Rob loves how much Evan cares about literally everything and cannot wait for the endless amounts of conversations they will find themselves entertaining while Jenn and Jess disappear to do their own thing.
Bridesmaid
Allison and Jenn have been friends since they were five. Their friendship sprouted in Kindergarten and was carried through by Girl Scouts and standing together at the end of the line in elementary school because both of their last names started with a “V”. Jenn and Allison have always shared the hobby of talking about boys since they were in middle school. Their friendship only grew when Allison convinced Jenn to join the diving team in high school. Allison has always had the most initiative with making plans. Every time Jenn and Allison were home on college breaks, Jenn counted on Allison getting the friend group together. Their time together is memorable, being full of laughs and genuine conversation.
Groomsman
Eli and Rob have always been more than just cousins. Since they were toddlers, they have spent weeks at a time together. In 2009, they grew closer in their relationship and physically when Rob moved to Florida. They lived less than 10 minutes away from each other, allowing them to get that much closer. They worked out together and went to the same middle and high school together. Eli has always been the big brother to Rob.
Mother of the Bride
Mama Bear and Jenn have always had a strong relationship. No matter the annoyance or argument, they turn to each other for solitude. Their relationship has obvious differences, yet subtle similarities that drive their interactions. Most of the time, Jenn will entertain her mom through various conversations or errands that she needs to run. Their biggest personality trait that they have in common is their preference for company. No matter how short the errand, Jenn will always ask her mom if she wants to come with her (the same goes with her mom). Jenn will always appreciate the freedom and support that her mom has given her over the years. Mama Bear loves Rob and his loving kindness that he shares with her and the rest of the family. Elizabeth cannot wait for Rob to join the family.
Father of the Bride
Papa Bear and Jenn have an unbreakable relationship. Jenn looks up to her dad in more ways than she could ever communicate. His service is one of the main sources that led Jenn to attending the Naval Academy and joining the Marine Corps. Their relationship is built off of adventure in the outdoors, from hiking 14ers to backpacking various mountain ranges to camping endless nights on end. They also enjoy annoying Molly (their cat), laughing, and taking more photos than either of them truly needs. Jenn can’t help but find herself smiling around her dad. The past few months have been some of the hardest for her, but she finds herself cherishing the memories she has been showered in throughout her life. Papa Bear is so excited to have Rob join this family and has always loved him like he’s his own son.
Mother of the Groom
Rob and his mother such a strong relationship that resembles two best friends. Majority of their talks are just catching up, being goofy to each other, gossiping, or just smack talking each other for fun. Growing up, she was the reason for most of the memories made in the family. She is always someone you want in your corner. Rob’s mom is the rock of the family and the shoulder you can always lean on.
Father of the Groom
Rob and his father have the epitome of a father son relationship. Rob’s father is not only a loving and caring man, but the best teacher you can have in life. All the life lessons were taught from his dad, constantly pushing Rob to be the best version of himself whether it’s personal growth or success in his work life. All in all, Rob would not be where he is today without his father.
Flower Girl
Charlotte Rose, Evan and Jessi’s daughter and Jenn’s first niece, will be heard across the dance floor and surely throughout the entire wedding ceremony. Charlotte loves to talk and walk, but never at the same time. Her new found hobby of walking requires her complete attention. Jenn and Rob have known Charlotte since the day she was born and she has only glowed up every day since. Her more recent hair growth has promoted her from a goob to a cutie pie. Her massive bald head claimed the name goob, but won Jenn over the moment she could make a mohawk out of Charlotte’s hair. Charlotte Rose can’t wait for Rob to officially become Uncle Rob and to run away from her parents all night.
Ring Bearer
Keegan Jay, Jake and Macie’s son and Jenn’s first nephew, will be the second most important guy in the wedding. Keegan defines his young age with: his love for Kasha greatly outweighing his love for Bailey (Bailey and Kasha are their dogs), his endless attempts to eat faster than his mouth can actually chew, and inheriting his facial expressions from his Aunt Jenn. One of the most iconic parts of Keegan are the facial expressions he makes day-to-day. He will deeply judge you with just his eyebrows alone. He is already a lady killer and Jenn fears for the women of his generation. His stoic, yet seemingly judgemental, nature reflects highly on the fact that only his parents can make him smile easily. Keegan James can’t wait for Rob to officially become Uncle Rob and to eat all the cake at the wedding while Macie isn’t looking.
