Matron of Honor
Celeste and Ro first met as randomly assigned roommates during a summer repertory theatre gig in Nebraska. They hit it off immediately, bonding over their shared love of acting, a goofy (sometimes dark) sense of humor, and mutual homesickness for the cats waiting for them back home. A few years later, Celeste and her husband Adam were happy to hear that Ro was moving to Los Angeles, just as they had done. Watching Ro grow into their most authentic self has been a joy, especially with the love and support they’ve found in Matty. Most recently, Celeste and Adam had a blast at a murder mystery party hosted by the couple, and they can’t wait for many more memories to come.
Best Man
Hi, I'm Ryan, Matty's uncle. Family has always been the center of my life, and watching Matty grow into the person they are today has been such a gift. Seeing them find someone as kind, genuine, and loving as Ro makes this celebration even more special. I feel so lucky to be here with all of you, sharing in the joy of two families becoming one.
Hi my name is Kylie. Ro is my cousin, but all my life they’ve been more of an older sibling to me. From watching Doctor Who and Supernatural to doing theater productions together. It has been amazing to see how Ro and Matty have grown together, and I am so honored to be a part of their big day!
I'm amber, recently discovered I'm probably the b in the LGBTQ, my dog is my best friend and my job is definitely cooler than yours (i get paid to color and blow bubbles, beat that punk). I met Matty through mutuals & Ro through Matty & i remember the time before Ro, but I've never seen Matty as happy as with Ro ❤️ thank goodness for small towns that bring people together amirite 🥹
Trisha Stigge is a dance and theatre performer and educator in Chicago,IL who loves food and knitting! Ro and T both began their time at the Brownville Village Theatre in 2018 and had the very lucky opportunity to be roommates and play cousins!!! They returned to BVT in 2019 with their one contractual request being “I want to room with Ro in room 4.” The two dorks continued their artsy journeys in Chicago getting to cheer each other on in several productions! Though they are now 1000 or so miles apart, they are still huge supporters of each other’s art and lives 😻
Hi, I’m Samantha! Ro and I met during college in Winona, MN while auditioning for a musical and instantly sparked a friendship. We still are a big part of each other’s lives even from opposite sides of the country, and I’m so excited to come from NYC to celebrate my amazing friend!
My name is Christy, and my pronouns are she/her. I first met Matty when we were in college and we were in a musical together. We went on to different schools, but we reconnected, and I was introduced to Ro. It was so wonderful seeing how happy they both were together! It's always so much fun spending time with them whether we're playing board games or going to see shows at the theater. They truly bring out the best in each other, and it's so sweet the way that they care for and compliment each other!
