We met during High School, where we became friends instantly due to our competitiveness towards go-karting. She was the life of the party, from her famous dance moves to her contagious laugh. From the first time I saw her dance, that was it for me.. game over. She became the person I looked forward to seeing at every game night or night out on the town. Fast forward, she graduated high school and decided she was going to move to Orlando to attend UCF, at that same time I had committed to moving to Orlando for a Fire Science degree. We became bestest of friends, being so far from “305” together. A few incredible months later, I asked her to be my girlfriend…. Three times, and was rejected… all three times. Just so she could be the one to ask me. So here we are today, writing about how Her and I began. To now start our new chapter, The adventure of loving my best friend and building the life of our dreams side by side, Forever for-always.

Chris and I first met in my junior year of high school when we were "party friends", meaning I only ever saw him at parties on the weekends. Coincidentally, we both ended up in Orlando (me for UCF and him for firefighter school) and became the best of friends. Moving away from home was tough, but it was nice to have a familiar face by my side. As our friendship grew stronger, so did our feelings for each other. Chris was definitely waaaay more in love with me then I with him at first LOL. But eventually I gave in, and actually asked him to be my boyfriend (after I rejected him 3 times). Soon thereafter, we adopted our pup Anakin and have had countless adventures and memories together. The day before Chris proposed was my 22nd birthday and graduation from UCF, so we were in Disney to celebrate those two big events, when he added a big third one. We have been there for each other's big life milestones - graduations, birthdays, promotions, buying a house, starting graduate school, etc. Over the past 4 years he has been my absolute best friend and rock. My constant ray of sunshine. My forever travel partner. Now, as we plan our wedding, I look back and am so grateful for meeting that goofy, dancing, car-crazy boy at K1 Speed GoKarts and can't imagine what my life would look like without him.
