We're Getting Married!

In August 2011, Chantel and Kierra decided to attend the Undergrad Greek Yard Show with friends at their Alma Mater, Winthrop University. Quick glances between the two led to a short message on Twitter which turned into a first date at Sakura Japanese Steakhouse. Two souls connected and had a bright spark created that was so magnetic, they were inseparable. "In all the world, there is no heart for me like yours. One of our very first dates was seeing the Nutcracker Ballet in Columbia, SC. Kierra planned a magical night to commemorate that very special date by telling Chantel they were attending the Nutcracker Ballet here in DC and were taking pictures with cast! Once inside the theater (which was full of guests waiting for the ballet to start), we were escorted to the Presidential Suite box. As Chantel was admiring the fancy seating area and contemplating how Kierra could have pulled this off, Kierra told Chantel turn around and there she was on her knee with Chantel's best friends right behind her! As tears were flowing and the audience was cheering, Chantel said yes to spending the rest of her life with Kierra.
